Health Canada recommends testing your annual average radon exposure and so they are a good follow up to a short term test or can also be used as the primary testing source. The canisters are 10 cm in diameter and 20 cm high. Once you have purchased a kit, simply decide on the best location in your home for the test and open the canister leave it open for 30 – 120 days. Seal it at the end of the test period and return the canister to our lab. Detailed instructions and return postage are included with the kit. | Our Pre and Post Renovations Test Package: $115 plus taxes includes shipping Package includes 2 - 30 day tests This package will provide you with two tests. If you are looking at renovating your home. The initial test is to be set up before renovations are completed. This will provide you with some guidance if radon proofing is required as part of your renovation process. Mitigation work can then be done if levels are elevated. The post test is for after mitigation work is done if required to verify levels are reduced or if mitigation was not required to ensure the levels remain low after renovation work is completed. After ordering the pre test will be mailed to you. Once you have completed mitigation or renovation work the second test will be sent to you. Detailed instructions and return postage are included with the kit. All shipping fees and lab fees are included in your cost. |

Floor Drain Seals (JN6): $45 plus taxes (price includes delivery) These seals are designed and manufactured by Dranjer, a local Winnipeg company. These circular PVC seals cement into the concrete at the floor drain in your home basement. They allow water to flow down the drain but block the upward flow of radon. The valves are a 19 cm diameter. The inside also pops out quickly in case there is a need to drain water faster.

| Sump Pit Cover Seals (JS5): $35 plus taxes These valves are also manufactured by Dranjer and are similar to the floor drain valves but they are fitted to a sump pump cover. They are 12.5cm in diameter. They come with brass screws to fit into an existing sump pump cover and simply need to be sealed with caulking after installation. $90 plus taxes Combined with a 30-day Radon Test (JS5-30) |

| Large Floor Drain Seals:(JRH-5): $45 plus taxes These Dranjer Models have a flexible rubber ring which allow it to fit a variety floor drains. It uses the same 'pea trap' technology as the JN6 but adds flexibility for size. Its versatility will allow it to fit a drain which has a diameter of 30cm down to a smallest diameter of 13cm. These seals fit under the floor drain cover which is then put back in place. It requires only silicone caulking for a sealant which makes for an easy install.
